Hoo boy have I cooked something special for you up.
Now, we’ve done a lot of different preseason things to prepare here. Think about the ill-fated Three Big Questions series in 2023 that was way too much for just me to handle. Or the Project 134 last year where I made custom CFB25 Cover Inserts for every FBS team and subscribers. What about conference previews last year?
By now, you’ve noticed that there hasn’t been a lot of preseason stuff here - so what gives? This gives, my friends.
At this point, you’ve probably noticed my affinity for, let’s call it, retro things. Nostalgia from my childhood like custom cover inserts, old NCAA football games (NCAA 05 on the PS2 was the pinnacle of sports games) and preview magazines. Oh, should I mention I’m also a former SID that used to make media guides multiple times a year? So yeah, I made a preview magazine.
This is a massive project. One that I’ve been working on almost non-stop since April. It’s taken so long and been so involved that I legitimately didn’t know if it would get finished.
But here it is. The 2025 SID Sports Season Preview.
At this point, I would be remiss if I didn’t thank my amazing wife for putting up with all the nonsense that came along with me writing this day and night for months. And for serving as a beta reader despite not knowing anything about college football. Any my sounding board to make sure I stayed realistic. And my all around support. She’s the best.
And thank you to all the creators that joined in this year! You all filled out a massive survey for literally no benefit to yourselves. Thank you, seriously. You made this project so much easier and a ton more fun.

Now, I’m happy to say that right now, this is planned to be the first of an annual running theme at SID Sports. If you know some creators that you want to see included in the next edition, be sure to let me and let them know!
Once again, really and truly thank you to everyone. Collaborators. Friends. Readers. Supporters. Family. You all made this possible. I hope you enjoy it. And I hope you’re ready for chaos.
Awesome!!! I’m definitely going to tackle the whole PDF!!
WoW! This is awesome and an impressive undertaking. Nice job, Griffin. This will be a great reference for the college football season.
