The biggest thing that Deion has done is that people are talking about Colorado. He's a flashy promoter and has had had a lot of success getting "skill position" talent already. However, any true success will come down to recruiting and development in the trenches.

I'm somewhat of a Veer & Shoot enthusiast and bringing in Sean Lewis as OC was a shrewd move. I believe that his version of the offense may be the best and he lacks the baggage of someone who was in a posyof power at Baylor 10 years ago.

But the offense generally has some struggles in year 1 before blossoming in year 2. I expect them to show some explosion against the weaker defenses but they just don't have the firepower to handle an athletic defense that can get quick pressure with a 4 man rush. Lewis may not stick around long enough to really establish things as he'll probably be in demand for another HC gig before long.
